Baptism
– Baptism is the requirement before baptized believers can partake of the Communion and Feet Washing Service.
Baptism is by complete immersion in water upon profession of faith. Matt. 3:13-17,
1 Pet. 3:21, Luke 3:21
- Bible – The Kings James Translation is recognized
as the proper language translation of the Holy Scriptures and is not an interpretation as there are many such printings.
2 Pet. 1:20-21, 2 Tim. 3:16-17, 1 Cor. 10:11
- Communion – Communion is a holy ordinance ordained
by the Lord Himself. Wine and unleavened bread are to be used as tokens of the Lord’s blood and body and taken
in remembrance of Him. Feet washing is an example set forth by the Lord for brothers and sisters and is part of the
Communion Service.

- Icons and Pictures – Icons and pictures or paintings
depicting the imagined physical image of the Lord are not displayed in Primitive Baptist Churches.

- Musical Instruments – Congregational singing a
cappella in the worship service is the sound of voices making praise unto the Lord. Musical instruments are not provided
for in the New Testament in the worship service and for fear of entering entertainment for the natural man, and reducing the
service to a social entertainment gathering.

- Office of Bishop or Elder – The office of Bishop
or Elder is to be only held by a male member having been duly called with a desire and duly ordained by the church by laying
on of hands by the presbytery.

- Salaried Preachers – No preacher or Elder shall
be salaried or paid to preach the gospel. This gift is freely received from the Lord and is to be freely given.
Preaching the gospel is not a worldly occupation for income and employment.

- Secret Orders – Church members shall not have
joint membership with any worldly Secret Order that vows allegiance to the order and holds religious beliefs and practices
contrary to Biblical teachings.

- Sunday Schools – Division of the congregation
into categories for the purpose of teaching by others than called ministers is not a practice. Christ taught all together
and that is good for the youngest to the oldest.
